New name for HWS-Template (WD34) ** Closed **

There seems to be confusion for new users of the HWS-Template (WD34) version, especially Brian Underdown is still getting multiple requests each day from non-weather34/ users. The code of a weather 34 / version and the WD34 version is more then 90% different, especially the way the scripts operate internally. I congratulate Wim and his collaborators on the new version of weather34 for WD. I had been wondering how long* I could keep my old X5 version (with WU API) going! I do have one or two suggestions for a wish list, feel free to shoot them down: More options for small blocks in top row: extra temp/hum/apparent (to be user-named), indoor temp/hum/apparent, standalone UV (maybe standalone solar, cloudbase, max-min wind?). Customising PWS Dashboard (early versions)

I have been modifying blocks and pop-ups since the original release [1901], but lately I have been experimenting with 4 rows of 3 blocks. With help and encouragement from Wim, I managed to “go live” this morning (link under avatar). Only two files need to be changed: I had worked out how to add the extra blocks in w34_index.php, and Wim told me I had to add them in w34_updater.php as well. They cannot be changed with easyweathersetup because the block positions are defined, just as rows 1 and 2…

There has been other discussions about support for WeatherDisplay in the “weather34” template as designed and developed by BrianUnderdown. BrianUnderdown now fully supports the Meteobridge version at his template-site.
