Like the new theme a lot but it would make it easier to read if the titles of the posts were bolded in the new list rather then who it is from!
Scott
The old version had the subject/started by and replies/view split into their own columns. I think it would help a little if started by and views had their own sorters like the main message index. I think I can fix that.
That was tricky but I got it in the end.
I like the new theme

Chris I know I got some stick for daring to suggest that readability needed to be improved, well you have excelled and I think now it is excellent thanks for persevering, you and your valiant helpers have indeed made it as far as I am concerned…

I second the improved readability!
Hi All,
I am still having this transparent issue with the pull down menus. Don’t know if this is an issue with my browser setup. I have no idea where to look for in solving this issue. See attached snap shot.
Any suggestions for a solution??

Hi Silversword, have you tried clicking the compatibility view button on your browser, hopes this sorts it out.
teal.
As far as I know my FF9.0.1 is a straight install with no extra compatibility buttons pressed. Only difference I can see is you’re on WinXP and I’m on Win7.
Hi teal,
I am using FF 9.0.1 with this issue. Where do I find the compatibility view button for this browser?
I will see what my IE does with this issue. Haven’t compared with that yet.
Thank you for your suggestion.

Stan,
You don’t appear to have any color on the nav buttons either?

No problem here with WinXP and FF 9.0.1
Hardware acceleration problem? See drop down menus are transparent. how to turn off? | Firefox Support Forum | Mozilla Support
Hi,
I just came from my IE and it sure looks different compared with my FF. Bob, noticed that when I hover over those nav buttons, they disappear and if there is a drop down, the back ground shows what is under it…
I see that Chris has FF 10.0.0 running. Will try to see if that update might solve this issue for me when I get a chance to update.
Chris, maybe you might be on to something about XP and FF 9.0.1 combo that might be causing this…
It still works for me but guess this is a cosmetic issue for me.
Hope I can sort this out later.
Thank you for all for suggestions.

Odd…I have FF9 and it says I’m up to date, so where does FF10 come from? Beta perhaps?
Yep Beta channel I am currently at FF 10.x (3 I think)

Hi again,
Sorry, I meant Bob had FF 10 showing.
Chris, I went to the link you provided and unticked the acceleration for hardware but it made no difference. As mentioned earlier, my IE looks much better than my FF for some reason. Maybe when or if I can solve this issue with the transparent portion, FF will look the same as IE.
Wonder what Axelvold has done to his FF to look the way it does for him.
Guess still gotta prod along with this…

I’m currently using FF8 at home (in work tonight - hence the IE6 #-o ) and I don’t get any problems with the drop-down menu. In fact, even IE6 has the coloured background to them! 8O
