I think Geert was requesting that the font used for the wind directions be a sans-serif font like Arial/Helvetica and not a serif font like Times New Roman.
Something like Arial/Helvetica Bold Condensed for a font would be nice and legible.

Great icons, it’s just a shame they’re not animated when using them with WDL. Would it be hard to convert them to SWF format?
