It won’t be ready just yet, but the work I need to do is progressing nicely. I need to:
Upgrade the web site to the latest version of the CMS software
Migrate this forum from phpBB2 to SMF. I’m doing some coding on the converter tool to get more of the phpBB data migrated directly into SMF. That work is going well and there’s not much more to do before it works well enough for mw.
Integrate the CMS front-end with the SMF software. I’m on the alpha/beta test ‘team’ sorting that out and that’s progressing well.
When I’ve got those three things done I can devote far more time to sprucing up the web site with extra Amazon links, etc.

Lar and I have made great progress
its now formating the data nicely, the latest beta test program, and only shows the latest strike when it occurs
just a bit more tidying up needed, then i will integrate it with wd
Is there any alternative to the Boltek? I have the vantage pro wireless and I am interested in exploring the option at some point in time.
And with the Boltek I see they have an USB option for their rather pricey external option. I “think” I have board space in side the case, but I do use 2.0 USB .
i have integrated WD with Nexstorm now
just tick that under Setup, extra and misc (scroll right down)
then you can view the data as lightning is detected under view, lightning counts…(and the main screen alarm will flash…and there will be a lightning count number under the data received number on the main screen too…click on that at any time to get to the lightning info screen (where you can find the real time lightning count graph)
should work OK, but its still in beta phase

Make sure you have the Flash gate IPC enabled in Nexstorm, under options
Okay, now I’m going to add Nexstorm software to my computer with Weather-Display. I have the Boltek, and now it’s time to change lightning display software.
