Here is the link to “my” Astronomy page http://oster-manhay.be/Meteo/wxastronomy.php
The moon picture is not displayed because the script is looking for the file moonicon.gif.
As this is a continuously changing picture, some kind of software should create and update it in the main directory.
Is this done by Weather Display software (Brian) or by a script on server side?
Other question: how can the local time of astronomy events be displayed correctly instead of showing 01/01/1970 01:00? The UTC time is shown ok. I checked the wxastronomy.php and this depends of the get_localdate variable
Thanks all.
The moonicon.gif should be created by Weather-Display and uploaded.
Is your WD setup like:
with the Extra Moon Details ticked?
Best regards,
Ken
Thanks Ken. I’ll check when back home.
I would suppose that this is uploaded to the default server. As I am using Saratoga scripts on another server, I’ll have to upload via the File Creation and Upload weather display menu, shan’t I?
Thanks.
I’ve not tried WD uploading to more than one server, so I don’t have any info on that behavior. Ticking the extra moon option will result in uploading 3 images to the default server – don’t know if they’re also done to the secondary server.
Best regards,
Ken
Back home.
I checked as you show me. But it only uploads to the default server, it looks like. I found a work-around just by referencing the moon picture to the other website.
Thanks.
Good night.
Have you tried using the advanced internet create & upload as you can specify a 2nd server in there.
Set the server details on the “Other FTP Server Setup” page and on the file page there’s a box called “Other FTP servers”. Choose the server number from the setup page and tick “Use other FTP servers”, if you also want the image sent to the default server as well, just leave the “Do not ftp to default” un-ticked.
