How do you remove the moon details?
There must be 2 places and I only found 1 so far…
Need to remove the moon details that specify the eclipses and extra data.

if you tick, let me manage the datahtm2.txt file, in the web files/web page setup
then you can remove the reference to the 2nd moon image in the datahtm2.txt file
try that…
Yes, that works…but I didn’t want to manage the file myself. And I don’t want to make my own custom web page either.
Is there no other way to turn off the moon details in WD?
BTW, I turned off the moon details because the data displayed isn’t accurate for my location (for whatever reason).
I thought it would be a simple matter to turn off the moon details but WD insists on re-inserting the code into the datahtm2.txt file.

I’m in N CA too, and I believe the moon data is correct for my locations (except for the moon transit which seems to be a problem to fix). Unfortunately you managed to remove it from your site so I can’t compare your numbers with mine. There’s a calculator here http://www.ccaurora.edu/astro/ast101/calendar.htm
the format of the moon transit (when available) is now ok, should be, in 10.12x, uploading now
I will have to download the new version and see if the data is correct. (I will add it back to the web page as well). The data on the transit always seemed to be off by a day…Thanks for the quick fix Brian.
also make sure your windows time zone is correct…

i have looked and looked at that 1 little peice of code…
but another look, and it suddenly hit me what was wrong!
Looking at the moon detail today I noticed that it is showing the moon rise time and dates as:
16:45:11 06/28/04
and the moon set time as:
02:52:15 06/29/04
The US Naval Observatory shows the following for my location:
MOON
Moonrise 4:42 p.m. on preceding day
Moonset 2:54 a.m.
Moonrise 5:59 p.m.
Moon transit 10:51 p.m.
Moonset 3:37 a.m. on following day
Why does WD not report the moon detail for today and tomorrow, as dictated by the rise and fall times? Does WD retreive the moon data from some external site? What time of the day does WD update the data to be displayed on the website?
