Monthly records bug?

Not sure if this is WD or WDL but in (WDL 2.01) my records for this month the warmest day and coldest day read -50deg C and +50deg C respectively. When I look at records for this year the data is correct. :?

its the start of a new month now (at least in NZ), so that data will get updated when today has finished (6pm tonight)

Hmmmm…OK it just seems a little strange that all the other ‘monthly’ records are there, just taken at whatever date/time they were highest or lowest today (for instance monthly lowest baro, 14:58 today)

but the warmest day is only calculated at 6pm at night, you see

Ah - so its calculated as a whole day rather than at any particular point in the day - I see it all now

I also note in the WD setup that the New Zealand and Australia “day” is reset at a different time, why is that :?:

dunno actualy…its 9am…but thats different to other parts of the world (midnight)
but, though, also, some places have 4pm for some reset times, and 1st july for rain year reset…there is no standards!

Is there any penalty to us Kiwis in using midnight? Its just a personal preference thing for me that the day runs from midnight to midnight.
But if it mucks up something else I’m happy to conform to the 9am

well it hards to then compare your data for daily resets / hi/los compared to everyone else in nz using the 9am

i quite like the 9am…its mean the day and night go together as a whole…instead of a day only having half a night

9 am it is then.
