I converted it to data (via action, convert WD logfiles to data files)
and all the days data show under view, Av/ext, for jan
you can download that converted data file at

unzip that to your WD data files folder

Can I read into that then the odd data being displayed was coming from month12016.inf and that for any future occurrences of that nature I can use Action\Convert log files utility as well?
yes, all you needed to have done was convert the OK log file to data file
