recently, my site host had a server burp that affected my website. once the server burp was taken care of and they restored my site, I started to have goofy issues. most of the issues have been rectified, except one: metar display.
the three metars used to show up in the frames on the page, but now I’m getting an ancient version of the site’s home page in the frames.
I don’t know how that happened or how to fix it. I’m using Weather Display to FTP the .txt files to the site. the updated files are getting to the site directory without issue. the page source looks good, as does the page template.
so I’m not sure what’s going on, not that I would know anyway. website construction is not my strong suit. if it weren’t for the templates I wouldn’t have a site at all. in any case, I’m totally stumped. any ideas from the brain trust?
I don’t know if this is related, but if you look at that page using the browser development tools, e.g. press F12 in Chrome, there are a lot of errors showing in the JavaScript console log. Quite a few seem to be related using an old Google Adsense script, i.e.
VM392 show_ads.js:36 You are using deprecated show_ads.js script to display AdSense ads. To improve performance of your ads switch to the modern adsbygoogle.js script. See instructions on https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/9190028.
There are other errors too, e.g. missing images, etc, so I think that page might not have been restored properly.
looking at your site some of the links point to 2008 data and different layout
i would agree with Chris the restore has not worked well
suggest you upload a copy of your site that you hopefully have
