Any ideas what caused this? I’ve not seen it happen since…but haven’t been particularly checking. This evening the wind speed in my METAR image is showing as

(17KT

…so it’s missing the trailing bracket which might be down to a related problem in the METAR parsing code.

ok, i will use the metar you have pasted here to fix

and, i am going to add a icon to the metar for the metar’s conditions
good idea?
me thinks

There are a lot of ‘empty’ pixels so filling them with an icon does sound like a good idea. Mind you, you’re making work for yourself again

i have done this now, for the main first metar
in a new vers 9.77e
works well
i have fixed up some other quirks too
with the metar
but hopefully i have not stuffed things up
but i forgot to check on this bug in this thread!
