and saving of the solar plot after restart fixed
(to plot solar on main screen, go to the solar setup, turn the switch ON there, and then in the graph setup, tick to plot solar and tick to plot blocked in)
Hi Brian,
Well I have started to notice another problem…The unit currently shows 2.44 inches of rain however WD is not updating near that pace…It is currently at .94 inches…Any reason as to why and if it is fixable by me or requires an update by you???
Hi Brian,
I do not know if it will help you or not but the past few days I start WD then start the hid reader it reports: usb reader, arrival of, and usb keyboard. if I unplug the usb and replug it it reports: removal of, and when I replug it it reports: arrival of and starts to read and work. It will work as long as I do not stop the WD. If I do then I have to repeat it all over. it is a small pain but at it works.
for the not keeping up with the rain
i have assumed 0.69mm per tip, is that correct?
try this update though, i made some small adustments in that area of the code:
Use 0.6875 for old product (version1 ,2 and 3)
user 0.705375 for version 4 or later
Is there any way to check which version/firmware of the station? You mentioned way up in this tread that one couldn’t be sure by checking the version.bin file.
Brian,
Things have been very-very good the past couple of days. Have seen one wind spike of 27.8 m/s this morning though. It came together with 4.8mm of rain and there’s not a cloud in sight and no rain counted on the weather station itself.
I’ve had my TE923 a few days now. Great to see WD is supporting it. I have v10.36c evaluation which I will register when I know it works.
I can’t get WD to download logged data from the TE923.
In station type I have TE923 selected and checked ‘use direct’
When I start WD next time no data is transferred and ‘use direct’ is unchecked again.
If I look at VIEW/Data logfile I see only data from periods when the computer was on.
If I try CONTROL PANEL/DATA LOGGER nothing happens, no new window opens.
Help, what am I missing here ?
Regards, Derek
i have not added ability to get past data working yet when the program is not running
i see that pcweatherstation software now supports this weather station
the manufacturer has been helping him out
i see where the tick for using direct is not being set after restarting
10.36d will fix that
Brian,
Still seeing windspikes at 28m/s at least once a day - any ideas why?
Preben
Hi
is it always up around that very high speed?
looking through the information i do have, there is no crc error codes on the live data (pity)
but i will see about ignoring windspeed spikes…
will let you know when that is ready
(might be maybe when the windspeed sensor has lost commmunication i wonder)
hi
for this gust issue, try this update:
http://www.weather-display.com/downloadfiles/WeatherD.zip
Brian,
You might have a point there with the lost coms and yes it is always around 26-28 m/s.
Will try your latest update and I’ll get back to you
Thanks,
Preben
Brian,
Now it’s not reading my system at all…I have the unit hooked up directly to the computer and still no communication…When I first installed it was already clicked for direct communication…I restarted my computer and still no connection as I have checked all communication lines…Might want to check on the way the WD software looks for the actual unit as it’s not seeing it for me at all…
hummm…does restarting get it working?
i think i found something
use this update:
http://www.weather-display.com/downloadfiles/WeatherD.zip
stars74,
I’m having the same problem after installing the update with the tick for direct support…no coms at all. But it does help to untick the direct support and then restart WD. Then you have to tick the direct support again and you will find the coms are back on.
Even with the latest update WD is having the same problem.
By the way Brian, no wind spikes since I installed your update re that issue
