Hello,
When I click on the Icon on the main screen my 5 day and summary image do not pop up.
About a year ago I had icons showing up on the summary image in my webpage and Brian helped me out to eliminate that but i think it was a quick fix which at that point I was pleased with.
Now Iâd like to use the 5 day forecast and I canât view it either by clicking on the main screen icon or right clicking on graph and chosing 5 dayforecast. And the summary image wonât show either. I can chose summary in âViewâ and itâs OK. I can go to the files and the text zone forecast is there and can be viewed in notepad.
If somehow you can find the time, I can use the help.
Thank You
Emilio
I had a similar problem a while ago - Brian & others helped me get it going. Here is where you have to start:
Hit setup > control panes > FTP - then the tab âFTP/Metar downloadâ
In the middle of the screen is a button âselect 5 day forecast file to useâ
Hope this gets you closer.
Thanks, but setting up 5 dayforecast isnât the problem. When you click on your main screen icon the summary image and or the 5 day opens up. On mine nothing happens. 8O
hi
it wont show/open if it cant find that downloaded 5 day forecast file from the Noaa ftp server, which you need to set in the ftp/metar download (i.e use this downloaded file fro the 5 day forecast)
but, otherwise, check under view, program error log for any errors
The summary dosnât open either but it does in view summary image. A yr. ago or so there was an issue with the icons appearing on the summary image on my web page, you changed something for the time being. But since that change when you clicked on the main screen image nothing happened and I didnât bother you about it. I see in time you added that option for icon but not on summary image. The error I get is: Invalid GIF sighnature.
The Gif image is in the file and I can view it using IE when opened.
Forgot Also the metar images donât open when screen icon pressed.
The error I get is: Invalid GIF sighnature
that error is what is stopping eveything in its tracks
have you replaced some of WDâs icons with your own?
i.e one of the images might be corruptedâŚ
email me your settings, wdisplay.ini and wdisplayftp.reg, after going action, back up registry entry now
ROGERâŚOn theyâre way
Hi,
Any luck yet?
noâŚ
but, as a test, can you try installing wd to a new directory?
and then create a file there called 2wd.txt
then wd will start up like brand new
and then setup but the basics needed, for the 5 day forecast, metar, etc, as a test
