Main Page Summary Icon Never Changes on XP

The main wx summary icon does not change on XP. Hmmmm… works fine on Win 2K, though. XP shows the sun/pt. cloud blue while W2k shows a starry night when it is night.

check you dont have day all the time under the sun moon setup ticked
and check you have the correct lat/long setup there
and check under input daily weather you do not have ticked use this image as the main icon

I have the same Icon as described always showing on the main program page, but the Icon displayed in the Summary.gif appears to be correct to the current conditions.

hi
email me your wdisplay.ini file from c:\windows or c:\winnt
and export me your wdisplayftp.ini file from the registry (and you too rutat)
see:
http://www.weather-display.com/exportregistry.html

Bingo! That darn negative sign…
Thx!
Tom

for the lat/long?
one down then!

Yeah, for lat/long. Also, I checked and if you do not have ANY lat/long, you get the default icon: I’d suggest something other than a weather-looking thing. Maybe something with a red bar through it? You know, the universal “not here” like you see on no smoking signs or maybe “wrong way”.
