Main Graph put 23 hours of data in 5 hours on Graph

I have not been sucessful at being able to shut the computer off and upload data at another time. I shut it off last night at 10:01pm after the last data retreival at 10:00. I just started it back up tonight at 9:17pm and over 287 data points were read. But if you look at the attached graph the data seems to be there, but all the data was spread between 10 last night and 2:30am instead of 9:00pm today. see attached graph image

Everything seems to work fine if I leave the machine on an never shut it off or reboot or anything.

Oh, one other thing… When I start WD the data logger always starts at 16 minutes as the interval time(should be 15 minutes for WS2510) yet the “seconds till next retrieval” is always 120 seconds more than what I set the interval time. Is there something I am missing here or is this the way it is suppose to function?

Thanks, Dave

i did find and fixed where it was not padding out the data correct at the data extraction at start up
in a new 10.12t
try that one

yes, its actualy set to 16 instead of 15, just to avoid any conflicts with the data logger getting current data every 15 minutes
(the data logger cant do the 2 jobs at the same time)

okay…I downloaded and am running 10.12t, I shut down thismorning after 6:00am and then restarted tonight after 6:15pm. I still got a compressed graph.

Is there some setting somewhere I do not have checked or something I’m not doing correctly? I use the “Save and Exit” when closing WD.

I run my computer 24/7 in winter but it gets to hot in my second floor office during the sumer 90+ if the computer is on, if off it only gets up to 80. So I perfer not to run it during the day.

Is there a document on all of WD’s settings/options and what they do?

advice/help appreciated
thanks, Dave

the main problem is that there is no date/time data in the data…
and that the data logging is not always very even…
but it should still behave better than what you saw
i will do a test here for a 12 hour period…
