Loss of Annual rainfall data?

:? Sadly I have lost my annual rainfall data (accumalted figure)

I have checked the logs and on the 31st August it simply drops to zero???

All other data, ie temp, wind etc are ok, it is just the rain count.

IT then restarts to accumulate when then rain came down in September…

Can someone help me with the best way to recreate this total figure for the year please.? :cry:

Could it be that the option to reset the rain year has been selected to end at the end of August?

Setup / control panel / units/other settings / month to reset the yearly rain total.

I checked that one, but thanks for the interest

I can see where the rows of zero’s come in on the log file for August and the 31st shows no recorded rain.

I can do a manual adjustment for the year but will loose August total and it wasa record for the uk this year!!

Are the daily rain totals in the 82004lg.txt file? I think you can rebuild the data from the log file.

using the last known good value, and then what has accumulated since then, use the setup, control panel, barometer offsets and rainfall, to set the new values for month and year to date (click on set then save settings to correct that)
the loss to zero might have happened with a corrupted setting file at some point with a wd start up
