Log file data exists but will not show in December2010.htm. Help needed :o

checks logs

  • View
  • Data log file
  • [select any date in December 2010]

The data seems to be there!

recreates December2010.htm

  • View
  • Averages/Extremes Noaa Style Report
  • Recreate the Web AV/Ext Page
  • [select month 12 and year 2010]
  • Click "Reset the web page averages/extremes

The result: http://meteohilversum.nl/archief-201012.php
(that page PHP includes December2010.htm)

I would really like to “close” 2010, weather wise, but for that to happen I need December2010.htm.

What am I missing?

I don’t know if this will help but try selecting

  • View
  • Averages/Extremes Noaa Style Report
  • Averages/Extremes (the first tab)
  • Select a date in December
  • Click “Update whole month now”

If all the data for December is displayed on the screen, then try recreating the December2010.html file as you did before.

try
action
convert WD Logfiles to data files
select the 122010lg.txt file
click on convert

then do the recreate the av/ext

The data for December is not being displayed :o

Doesn’t do the trick. The file December2010.htm is being created alright, but still no data in it… :o

.zip and email me your 122010lg.txt file…

Great

You’ve got mail.

Thanks.

Thanks for the files!

The files you sent me (month122010.inf, month122010direction3.inf) are the exact same file size as the two files that came out of my WD.

However, doing this after putting your files in the data files folder…

recreate December2010.htm

  • View
  • Averages/Extremes Noaa Style Report
  • Recreate the Web AV/Ext Page
  • [select month 12 and year 2010]
  • Click "Reset the web page averages/extremes

…DID create a correct December2010.htm.

I don’t know how, but somehow your .inf’s were better than mine.

Thanks

I’m having a similar problem in another thread. http://discourse.weather-watch.com/t/49363

I’m only missing data for Dec 1st 2010. All the data is there when I “update whole month now” But when I “recreate the webpage”, Dec 1st is still missing.

At least I know that I was headed down the right path in trying to retrieve the data.

Converting the logfile did the trick…Thanks!
