Latitude and Longitude

When I set the latitude and longitude of my city, the programs gives me the correct sunrise and sunset information

You need to (I believe)

Use “Set Long” and “Set Lat”

Then click “Update”

Then click “Ok”

I did what you said but I lose the data the same. The problem seems to be with our co-ordinates. Try with Rome

Hi
i just tested with a new install, new settings
Works OK, and it keeps the settings on a restart of WD
see here me setting up the settings…maybe compare to yours?

Sorry Brian,
but seems it doesn’t work… :frowning:
still it looses the lat and long after restart also on the new version (10.18a)!!

Are you using the up/down buttons and clicking “set”?

Brian, shouldn’t this be Degrees not Hours?

hi
try a new install test:
install wd to a new location
then create a file there called 2wd.txt
so that then wd starts up like brand new
then setup as I have done in the above screen shot
try that as a test

I have same problem. Fresh install on winxp sp1, ver 10.18c trial - Every start i need to reinsert lat/long coordinates. (from Italy - Rome)!

hi
what are the cor-ordinates…i .e what are you entering
i will try here with a fresh intall…
also, though, maybe check your windows time zone too?

the other thing that comes to mine is a windows regional setting issue…
i think this has come up before…in relation to the formating for time and date in the windows regional settings…
and for decimal place…i.e try setting to use a . instead of a ,
and use a : for time and / for date separators
try that…

Solved problem. I.ve changend . for : in windows time settings. When windows installs by default set italian time with . for separate time in fact now in Italy is 10.10.05. I.ve changed single poit with double point ( for separate number for time and it works now. Thanks.

thats good news…
i knew this problem ranng a bell in my head that I had come across it before
what i need to do is duplicate and fix this (i.e allow a . instead of a
