I have a oregon scientific wm918 and i am thinking about buying a wireless. Does anybody have an input about the above stations. Its it really true that the 2010 refresh rate is 3 min even for the wind? Should I wait for the vantage pro 2 ?

i think its every 1 minute on screen
but only every 3 minutes is data available to the PC (i.e the last 3 minutes, 1 minute data resolution)
and its only average windspeed for that minute, so gusts are missed
