La Crosse WS2500

Hi,

I’m having troble getting Weather Display to work properly with my WS2500. It’s the console version that stores data every 15 minutes that can be downloaded to a PC. I can get Weather Display to read the data but it seems to just keep cycling through it and never updates the main window with the current conditions. If anyone has successfully got Weather Display working with a La Crosse WS2500, I’d be really grateful if they could get in contact to help me out.

Thanks
David

Hi
there are lots of people using it…but some have had trouble…
what is reported under control panel, ws2010-13/ws2500 data setup?
(copy and post that here)
have you selected the outdoor sensor # to use as the main temperature sensor
if you live at altitude, then you might have to set a barometer offset.,…under setup, barometer offsets and rainfall
also, note that the data only updates on the quarter hour…
and , also, dont stop and restart the program until it has got a data update…

I’m struggling to copy the text form the data report window because when I click ‘get data’ it starts to retrieve the data at the rate of about one record every 3 seconds, but it never stops, I think it just cycles through all the records again and again. The data within each record looks resonable, perhaps with the exception of the solar sesor.

Sadly I can’t copy it from the window while it is still reading the data.

Why doesn’t it just read the data once and then stop? Is it that every 15 minutes it just starts again without ever deleting the data from the weather station?
