Hi Derek.
I just got a new computer with Win7 64bit OS.
Last night I got 1-wire lightning detector working in WD - you should download the correct 1-wire drivers for 64 bit.

Henrik,
Did you get WD working with a 1-wire USB Adapter or a Serial Adapter?
I already have WD working with a Serial Adapter on WinXP64bit.
Thanks.

Henrik,
Not sure exactly what you did to get it going, but no joy at this end, dispite following the link: http://discourse.weather-watch.com/t/32012 in your post. I was using the WinUSB 64 Bit Drivers (the beta Version as this was the only one I could find).
Very keen to get this working as I am only using a Serial Adapter, which I am worried about looking to a spike…
Thanks.
Regards
Derek.
Hi
Im sorry to hear its not working.
I downloaded the Windows 7 64 bit driver for 1-wire here:
http://www.maxim-ic.com/products/ibutton/software/tmex/download_drivers.cfm
Try the driver from the link above and make sure you can see your 1-wire sensors in the ibotton software.
Hope you get it working.
Best regards,
Henrik
Good support Henrik, I hope you get it sorted for usb Derek!
Hi again
Very strange… my 1-wire lightning detector can not be found anymore. I had it working for about a week- and now it has dissapeared.
See attached pic.
I have tried uninstalling and installing the drivers and removed the USB files from WD folder - but no luck
64bit is a real pain in the a…
Anyone have a suggestion what to do?
Best regards,
Henrik
