Installation problem ./GoWeather.sh: line 20: 1939

Hi,

after I heared about some memory leakage problems with kernel 2.6 I tried to install the software on an old machine.
But I get the error message:

xyz@EibServer:~/wdisplay$ ./GoWeather.sh
Runtime error 0 at BFFFF4F0
./GoWeather.sh: line 20: 1939 Speicherzugriffsfehler ./WeatherD
^- memory access error
all Permission are set to 777 :slight_smile:

I use debian Linux EibServer 2.4.27-2-386 #1 Wed Aug 17 09:33:35 UTC 2005 i686 GNU/Linux

PS: I’m a Linux newbie

This error only accures with Version 5.5i.

Now I’m using version 5.5c and this is okay.

Have you changed the permissions for WeatherD again when upgrading from C?
