For some reason I can not type in the numbers for the Sun/Moon lat/lon setting. When I go to highlight the box and type the numbers they are not appearing. I am missing something basic here and appreciate your help…Joe
hi
you dont type them in
instead, select the hour (degree)/minute/sec from the spin numbers along the top
then tick if eastern or southern hemisphere
then click on set for lat or set for long (do one at a time), then click on update
I have tried this to no avail, does not work, yet my long lat settings are operating correctly in APRS,why? tnx Al
hi
how do you mean it does not work?
should do
can you explain what you are doing exactly?
maybe there needs to be a FAQ on this (which screen shots) , what do you think , the great FAQ team??

I have to use high lat, 4421.48n,6950.81 is the setting in aprs,so i roghed it in hgh lat settings to69lat,44long,I assure you in Maine in March the sun is not seen at these times, thank you Al
I’ll do it.
Here’s a screen shot of my setup screen. Using the buttons, enter your long in the top box, hours, minutes, seconds, then click on set long. Then repeat for the lat. settings.
69 Lat and 44 long wouldn’t be right I do not believe…
Would this be more accurate?
I got those values by entering the hours minutes and second and then pushing Set long and then the same for Lat…

Bob, tried as you said, only my lat is 69 deg, would not work in the above 67 degree lat box, using 69 for lat ,44 for long,I am stumped because I originally ran aprslite WD 8.27 with the correct results.TNX Al
and dont forget to click on the update button
Using this resource I find that
Lat 69N and Long 44W is Greenland
while
Lat 44N and Long 69W is Maine

yes, i suspect you have your lat and long around the wrong way
If the aprs info is right, then you are located on, Old Belgrade Rd N/E of Prescott Rd. If this I correct then go to sun moon rise set. At the top of the page
Tnx to aall for showing errrors of my ways.Al
