under setup, general and misc, tick, enable a vws out put file (data.csv)
and set image salsa to use that…
but i think there is some problem…at times…i dont know what, and neither i think does jason

Hi, I am looking for this also. I am having trouble finding the location. I click on setup, and I assume control panel, but I can not find a general icon or find it under anything else. I am sure that if it was a snake it would have bitten me by now…

I did not get this work ever.
But then I bought “serial splitter” Now WD+WDL+VWS+ImageSalsa work together fine.

Hi Eki. You are right, it does not work. Do you have any ideas on why? I would really like to get it to work, but cant go to the expense that you did to get it working. Were you able to determine what was not working? It appears that the data.csv file is being updated, but is not being read by image salsa properly. Is it a formatting problem? I need a .csv file from vws to try and see if I can see if I can make that work. I need to download vws and try that.

I loaded vws and compared its output for data.csv to that of weather display. I was able to get the data.csv from weather display to work. The problem seems to be the seventh number, which is supposed to be the number of seconds. Weather display is putting a 3 digit number in that field and it is throwing image salsa off. I took a data.csv produced by weather display, edited that field for seconds from a three digit number (796) to a two digit number that would indicate a second and it worked.
Here is the file from vws (Data.csv):

Here is the file from Weather Display (Data.csv):

It is placing a 796 where the seconds should go. The other differences come from vws outputing a 0 for sensors I do not have and weather displaying using other numbers. That does not seem to be a problem, I do not think.
Is there anyway you could look at this and see what weather display is doing?

That is, it is placing a three digit number where seconds should go, it is not allways 796.

my fault
i was using milliseconds instead of seconds
uploading a fix now as a new 10.18v
it will be ready in about an hour or less
10.18x will be the version to fix this at long last hopefully
ready soon
Brian…that fixed it, it works now. The only other issue I see is the field for outdoor temp rate (34) and indoor temp rate (35). These seem to allways be shown as 32:

However, no need to fix them on my account, I do not need to use them. Thanks for the assistance with this, I am glad to see it working!

The field for weather condition (19) does not seem to change off of 0 (clear). Would it be possible to have this based on the whatever you are using to determine the weather condition, for example, the metar you are using? For example, weather display clearly thinks it is overcast here as it uses the local metar. But, instead of using a 4 in the weather condition field, it uses the 0.
Temp and everything else working great with version X.
