I may be mistaking, but

When first setting up Weather-Display, I couldn’t get the webcam working and I deleted some files that I didn’t need anymore.
I’m not sure, but was there a possibility to show the webcamimages from during the day on a html-page? I do not mean the dailywebcam-pictures. They work. But I think there was also a html-page where the pictures were clickable (to view a larger picture)??

Am I wrong or is there such a possibility???

Thanks, Peter

hi
have you tried the latest web cam capture method?
(its easier to setup)

there is a link to the dailyweb cam images on the av/ext page
see mine:
http://www.weather-display.com/windy/gb/September2004.htm
is that you mean?

Hi Windy,

No, that is working ok now.
But somehow I had the idea that there was an option like I mentioned before. I must be mistaken.

I haven’t used the new method, 'cause all is working ok now.
I’m afraid that it won’t work again, when I try the new method and it fails

My webcamimage looks like this now (just like I want it :))

Peter,
How do you do the overlay on your image?

Hi GR,

I use Willing Webcam and made an overlay (png-file) with PhotoShop to use as watermark.

I tried the new webcam setup, but than I couldn’t use the overlay anymore. And like I predicted, I needed hours to get the original webcampicture working again

But I must say, the new setup of the webcam in WD is much easier than the old setup!

Peter

Thanks for pointer to that webcam software. Very nice indeed. I had been trying Conquer Cam, but this appears much more stable and has a whole lot more features
