looking good so far, one other suggestion… have a front page with a listing of all the sections and what page they are one, a table on contents kinda of thing

pdf's are a pain in the rear :( Why not html? Then you can use links and have lots of fun. It's faster to load and anyone can cut and paste to post here or suggest changes/corrections.

The problem with html is that you have to include all the graphic files separately which, for a help file with a lot of pictures, can get messy. At least with pdf it’s in a nice compressed file, which can include links both externally and within itself. You can cut and paste from a pdf as long as the security allows it.

WeatherWiki is a new addition to this web site (as of 5 minutes ago) and is provided for experimental purposes at this time. If it takes off, then I’m happy to leave it in place.

I just added a link to my webcam in the 41South page I created. probably a great place for general info and docs, but we might have to watch the cross-over between the information in the forum.

now have a summary image and icon setup section

it has not taken off :cry: however, i don’t think it would take to much time for me to copy some of the help file stuff there

although no one else jumped on board, it is the perfect idea for WD since the every changing nature of WD goes well with wiki :wink:
