If your ipaddress changes frequently can you use WDL?
Only if you can associate the IP address to a domain name using a dynamic DNS service such as dyndns.org. Although my IP address hasn’t changed in over a year I use this service and it’s very good.
Incidentally if the IP is continually changing how to people find the website anyway? :?

I use a script that checks my ipaddress and sends me an email if it changes.
That’s a very similar technique to the dynamic DNS services. A small program checks your IP address and if it changes it tells the DNS service which in turn updates it’s DNS servers.

Are you going to a website to get the IP or getting it from your router? This issue came up in another group so I’m curious to know how your script works.
