How do you include the 5 day forecast in customweatherreport.txt (RESOLVED)

Does anyone know how to include the 5 day forecast in customweatherreport.txt so when the email is received it includes the forecast?

Thank You

I don’t think there is a WD tag for the forecast other then the Forecast Text from a Davis VP
%vpforecasttext%

-Bob

tagslist.txt disagrees.

`%5dayforecastday1%…Forecast from the 5 day forecast graphic image from a downloaded NOAA zone forecast file (which

must be first selected),repeat up to day 8
`

Ya know I thought that was a tag BUT danged if I could find it when I looked… Thanks

I searched for 5 day and not 5day…

It helps when you search tagslist.txt versus testtags.txt Dohhhhhhhhhhhhhh #-o

I even use day 1 and 2 in my custom weather report LOL…

Thanks guys…tried that and the data is blank in the email report.

Are you retrieving the forecast via WD?

Richa,

My raw customweatherreport.txt has the following:

%5dayforecastday1%
%5dayforecastday2%

The email this morning contained the following:

“today partly cloudy. chance of showers in the morning…then slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. highs in the lower 90s. southeast winds 10 to 15 mph. chance ofrain 40 percent. heat index readings 99 to 103.
tonight partly cloudy. lows in the mid 70s. south winds 5 to 10 mph.”

Bob…

Got it working now, finally.

This is what appears in the email now for the forecast…

Forecast:
today mostly sunny. highs in the lower 80s. northwest winds 10 to 15 mph.
tonight clear. lows in the upper 50s. northwest winds 10 to 15 mph.
friday sunny. highs in the upper 70s. northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.
