Honeywell has discontinued this and it figures… I got it for cheap. Anyway, i am a little dismayed that I need to put in lithium batteries in the outdoor sensor so it will run below -4F… sheesh.
so… the question is this, on the forecast icon there is this flashing lighting bolt and a cloud. I would assume that means it is going to be a thunderstorm but that has been the case for over a week. I looked at their manual and of course it isn’t there and the manufacturer has discontinued it (probably because of the lighting bolt) .
Does anyone have his sucker and experienced this? personally, since I get up before the sun does, it is nice in the winter to see the temperature before I dash over to my expensive Davis to see what it is really like.
We use it for the time factor… like “IT is 3 am, and our dog is into something… since you get up in 2 hours, you shouldn’t miss the lost sleep.” :?
