My noname.gif file has stopped UPDATING.
It still uploads ok, all other files in the same group update and upload ok.
Nothing I can do seems to fix this.
Any assistance whoul be appreciated as this is the major file in my weather page of my web site.
ps. it stopped updating after 1800 NZT yesterday
any errors under view, program error log?
anything else changed?
the reason its called noname is because you never set a weather station file name in the webfiles/web page setup…
check you havnt now dont that?
also, is the file being actualy updated in the webfiles folder?
also check under view, ftp log, view full log after the web page has been updated, to see what is going wrong…and copy paste that info to here…

Program Error log contains no entries.
No, Have not entered a different name for file.
No as I said in first posting the file is not being UPDATED.
File is still being uploaded though.

I cant see much out of what is normal for this file.
I have rebooted OS.

its not in the list of files to be updated
so it will be a configuration thing
if you email me your internet setings, i will check for you
i.e
go action, back up registry entry, then email me the file wdisplayftp.reg from the folder databackup
I beleive I have finally found an answer to problem, wont know for sure until The next auto upload occours.
It appears a function in the web page setup had for some unknown reason had been unclicked even though I have not accessed that page for weeks.
I will report later to confirm whether this was so.

I can now confirm that the problem is fixed.
BUT now the contents of flies fwigraph.gif and raindetail.gif are transposed
they were ok earlier today, maybe it is time for the funny farm for me

that will happen if a file cant be found in the sequence of files uploaded
under view, ftp log, view full log, check for a file not found…
i.e its getting out of sync
if you send me your settings file, i will do some checking
there was a change i made to the wind direciton plot, to allow for a 24 hour plot to uploaded
but that causes problems
i have fixed that in version 10.13n, which should be ready soon
(there will be an error report in the program error log about tempdirplot.bmp)

Ha, that was the problem, the files were out of sequence, the setup warns one of the requirement to keep equal numbers of files in the two boxes, but not that they should be in the same sequence, when one is used to other FTP clients where this is not a requirement this can be confusing, might be something you can add on one of those days when you are bored and looking for something to do!!!
