Graphs from Ecowitt

Hi Georgen

 1. Welcome to the forum
 2. Thank you for testing the PWS_Dashboard

=== @ALL

Let’s agree on the best way to collaborate.
I use my free time to answer questions
This first time I’ll try to answer while “blindfolded”

After this first answer, please do not waste my time as I need the link to your website where you run the Dashboard.
Checking the installed scripts, the logs and data-sets is for me the easiest way to answer
So always add the URL to your post.
You only need to do that once by adding the URL to your forum profile
=> either to your avatar (a small globe on the left to every post)
=> or in your signature which is inserted below each post.

I am not using any link to WU or to the Ecowitt site at the moment but if needed would prefer to use the ecowitt site.

[ul]
[li]The graphs can use the WU data from your station, you need to request an API-key on your WU-dashboard.[/li]
[li]Without WU data you can instruct the scripts to save your stations data in a folder on the website
That data is not as extensive as your WU data, so there are shorter and less periods for the graphs.[/li][/ul]

All explained in my-english (thanks to https://translate.google.com/ )
=> No High/Lows, where is history and graphs data used for, and ? cron ?

Currently there is no API-access to your historical data at ecowitt.
Ecowitt is developing an API for ecowitt.net, will take some more time before it will be available.
But it will probably only deliver the “latest” data.

The current guides seem to be a little old as I did not need to enter and go through the process of getting a key to put into index.php on the latest software.
I do not understand this. At https://pwsdashboard.com/ => How to use the Ecowitt "CustomUpload" protocol links to ==> https://pwsdashboard.com/documentation2012/42_ecowitt.pdf That document describes the situation without the need to copy the passkey and it reads as the frist two lines This description is for 2012_lts release updated to at least July 2021. For older releases use the description: https://pwsdashboard.com/documentation2012/41a_ecowitt.pdf

Succes,
Wim
