HI, I’ve noticed in the last couple of releases some weird functional actions fron the “Correct graph” function under the Graph Set up menu.
Every now and again i see a glithc now under 9.94d and a previous update, I find I correct the graph and sure enough it’s fine. Some time later the graph mainscreen updates, et voila the glitch re-appears again, in the same place, even though I save the correction action.
Another update it’s gone again, next it appears back again
I’ve only seen this action recently in early releases around 9.92 it worked fine and early rleases of 9.93 the same, but now it seems quirky.
Any thought or reasons???
Just as a follow up, when I checked tonight, attempting to change the graph, suddenly turns the graph screen into 12 hour mode, so rather than seeing the whole 24 hours all of a sudden it becomes 12 hour window and the correction is there. Next thing it reverts back to 24 hour window and the correction is missing.
Weird or what, certainly never saw this in earlier versions!
yes, the correct graph uses the 12 hour screen
but you must be viewing the 24 hour screen, which uses a different data set…
but in a new 9.94e, i have it now that when you update the 12 hour data file, it also updates the 24/48 or 72 hour data file…
should work…
Brian
Thanks for that, I’ll pull the latest release today and give a whirl.
Much appreciated.
Oh dear, I loaded 9.94e on tonight, and as usual I get an initial glitch on the barometer scale.
Went in (in 24 hour mode) to correct it from 95% to 99% of graph, which sure enough provided correct coverage of the glitch.
click.
Boom, next thing I see is that it corrected the value all the way back to three days ago, i.e. the same time I was altering the glitch but three days ago.
Just checked the 12 hour graph and it appears to show correct graphical data.
So now my barometer is a straight line for the last three days.
Not quite what I expected to be honest.
ohh, thats bad
I will test/fix that
sorry about that
but try:
action, import log files, convert wd log files to graphs, then slect 102003lg.txt then click on convert
that will get your barometer back
now, this baro glitch, what weather station type?

Unit is a Lacrosse 2310, could be a system thing, which was why I was keen to get the graph glitch working!
hi
i have just this minute tested and fixed it
works great
I will update the current version and let you know when its safe to use
(i am staying at 9.94e, its like a beta,so that 9.95 will be a goody)
Brian
Thanks for doing that.
Brian
Just a quickie update.
I loaded 9.95b, and as usual got the glitch on the barometer reading, no sweat, just fix the graph, I thought.
Went in to fix the graph and now if I look at the 12 hour display it has the glitch fixed, but when looking at the graph history for 24, 48 & 72 hour, the data on the main weather display graph is missing, so now there’s a gap in the graph for these times, whilst 12 hours shows a contiguous plotted graph line.
So based on previous experience I did the following:
i.e
action, import log files, convert wd log files to graphs, and select the
file 102003lg.txt
and click on convert
This at least put the glitch back in with no gap in the plotted data line for 24,48 or 72 hour.
Tried the correction again with 12 hour as default on main screen. fixed the glitch fine, then changed the default to 24 hour, noticed that the gap is there on the graph plotted line.
can you do a screen shot of this?
