German language / workaround

As german translation I did long ago (2007) and a lot of extensions in WD were added, a workaround is highly recommended.
Actually there could be seen a mixture of german / english labels / words and also typos in. :?

I could have a look into and do a workaround in order to actualise german language.

@Brian: dont know, whether you received my email or not concerning translation.
Could you please email me that relevant .ini files?

cheers

What do you make of that suggestion, Brian?
Please let me know.

cheers

I have not had a chance to look into this
(I am only 1 person doing the best I can  )

I know and I appreciate your great work. :thumbright:

Do you think, we could do that translation workaround in near future? Would be helpful for german speeking users in all respects.

cheers.

Brian, just a short question:

could I use that translations I did in the past when we worked on the translation project 2007 within the language.ini file as shown in the translated file? - So I would copy the lines into my language.ini file - if that works?

cheers

Hi meteofrog,

I hope i can help you with this quote?:

“You get WD to create the “language.ini” file, via the language setup menu and sub menus under “Setup”.
You add in your language after each = for each line.
Then you get WD to reload that back in via the langauge menu items and set to use that.”

With kind regards.
