FTPS change

I am not sure what you mean, Using Yahoo (aanaco) FTP I send everything to my root for WD rather then a folder some my home path is root or “/”
I would think home directory is root
Not sure what you mean

/home/xxxxxx/public_html/yoursite

I would use root so my full path should ne /home/www.mysite.com
Am I correct, I attached a filezilla login path which is not helpful

Here is what filezilla tells me

Hi.

ok, so you are using: /home/www.mysite.com this is ok.

Have you made a extra yahoo ftp account your self? that you are using?
looks like it down your thred here, but maybe not:
USER=****
331 User [email protected] OK. Password required
PASSWORD=****
230 OK. Current directory is /

If so: In weatherdisplay connection tab: Try log into the ftp using usename/password you got from yahoo, this “main root” account is linked up to the server sertificate.
If made a extra ftp account your self, this is not linked up to the yahoo server certificate, and you will get error.

Hope this was little bit clearer :wink:

Im hosting at www.proisp.no, and this was the only way to ftp or ftps or sftp by weatherdisplay.

I am using the same account has my cert I changed them here to hide some of my info.
Can never be too careful.
I have noticed when ftpupd runs every ten minutes I think it causes a certificate error on realtimeftp
if I manually reset realtime to starts to work otherwise I have to wait for the time out and realtime starts working again. I am still doing some testing. Ran so great till they required TLS 1.2

ok windgust.
tried at least :wink:
sorry I was not able to help :frowning:

Thanks for the idea. I have spent to much time on it already.
When it updates it updates. Might be the windows 7 upgrade. My last thought is to delete my certificate
and use filezilla to log on and it will prompt me to accept the cert again.

Back to building my Nixie clock

Windgust

Maybe now Yahoo is only allowing one concurrent FTP session?

according to them, I am still allowed 52 I should never use that many. I can open 5 sessions with filezilla using 5 different logins. I do not know. Tried to reset router and cable modem. Will see if that helps. I now get 301 errors too along with the cert errors. Will try to transfer all data to another computer.
