Ftp error log file : 301 interrupted by sending e-mail rep

In the last days an old problem occures:

Not all weather report e-mails are arriving. I set wd sendig a weather report e-mail both - via subjectline and a full custom weather report
5 times a day: 7 am, 8 am, 2 pm, 3 pm and 9 pm.

Every day there are missing some sendings - but at different times.
Also sometimes the mail with subject line arrived, but not the mail with the full weather report.

I noticed, that there is sometimes the following error code in the ftp error log file:

301 interrupted

what is this code for? how could this problem be resolved?

the interupted is when say a ftp upload has timed out, or it has reached the overall time out, or similar
sounds like maybe there is some internet congestion
or the timeout may relate to the email server nor responding in time…?

Are there any settings, which could improve the sending and resolve the problems?

there are some ftp timeout settings in the connections setup
also,maybe, try the latest version of wd
does this interupt only occur when you ftp as well as email in the same session?

What ftp time out settings are best?

This problem occurs only with sending emails, because I dont have an own homepage.

then its the mail connect time you want to increase
(default is 30, try 60 seconds)
what speed internet conneciton do you have?

ah, you are like me, a dial up modem
is it a noisy phone line?
i find external serial modems the best
the new pci software modems are useless!!!
