I noticed yesterday morning that my visibility was saying:
Visibility: 3/4 mile(s
So, it looks like when you grab that line Brian, you’re grabbing 10 spaces. I would suggest having it look for the “)” instead. Or if the “:0” on the end is consistent, have it cut off using that as a marker.

keep an eye on it…i.e, does the (s) always show up?
we dont have visibility in the metars in this country,…
Just an FYI to Brian,
This definitely pulling 10 spaces…
I’m using another METAR now and it says “7 mile(s):”
The raw decoded METAR is:
Visibility: 7 mile(s):0

ok, uploading a new 10.16 zip now, will be ready in an hour or less, which uses only 9 spaces

That won’t work either Brian…
Then some METARs will show up like:
10 mile(s
and…
3/4 mile(

ok…i will do a search for the last )
%downloadedmetar1temp% is now doing something similar…
Instead of showing:
87 F (31 C)
It shows:
87 F (31 C) Heat index: 92.3 F (33.5 C):1
Not sure why it’s grabbing so much now but not earlier today.
If you could have it terminate with the “)”, it should give much better results.
