I believe WD is removing the paragraph marks in the forecast without substituting a “space”. Here is an example:

RAW forecast data:

.TODAY…MOSTLY CLOUDY. ISOLATED MORNING SHOWERS…THEN A 30 PERCENT
CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS IN THE AFTERNOON. HIGHS IN THE MID 80S.
SOUTH WINDS AROUND 10 MPH SHIFTING TO THE WEST 10 TO 15 MPH IN THE
AFTERNOON.

WD converts it to:

today mostly cloudy. isolated morning showers…then a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. highs in the mid 80s.south winds around 10 mph shifting to the west 10 to 15 mph in theafternoon.

See where words are shoved together?

hi
email me the raw downloaded file wd is using to create this and i will have a look at both issues

Email on it’s way… with raw HTML before and after of the forecast.

Just a bump reminder to Brian…

This is still occuring.

Always if the forcast is 3+ lines in length…

So the RAW forecast of:

.TODAY…MOSTLY SUNNY. WINDY. HIGHS IN THE UPPER 80S. SOUTH WINDS 10
TO 20 INCREASING TO 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO AROUND 40 MPH IN THE
AFTERNOON.

Becomes:

today mostly sunny. windy. highs in the upper 80s. south winds 10 to 20 increasing to 20 to 30 mph with gusts to around 40 mph in theafternoon.

RAW forecast of:

.MONDAY NIGHT…PARTLY CLOUDY. A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS THEN
A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS AFTER MIDNIGHT. BREEZY. LOWS IN THE MID
60S. SOUTH WINDS 20 TO 25 MPH. CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS 20 PERCENT.

Becomes:

monday night partly cloudy. a slight chance of thunderstorms then a chance of thunderstorms after midnight. breezy. lows in the mid60s. south winds 20 to 25 mph. chance of thunderstorms 20 percent.

Anything with 2 or less lines wraps correctly.

Brian
Any chance to get the five day forecast to function with the new NZ Metservice forecast ?

no
as i dont know where they keep there files now…they now use dynmaic html
just provide a link to the met service web site…its has all the info easily obtainable now…

Brian, this is probably related… I believe because the first and second items had 3+ lines.
