I just added an extra indoor temp/humidity sensor. It is showing up on the base station so I assume it is being recognized by the data logger. I have been trying to get it to show up in WD but haven’t had success. Should WD see it, where does it show up and how do I set it up.
I just got the extra sensor to work. I can see it in the data retrieved from the data logger and is now graphing on the “Extra Sensor Real Time Graph”. I’m using WD both as Server and Client. On the client, I don’t get the graph. Settings?
i will do some testing here…with a client version …and see if the extra temperarture data from my server shows up…and if not , why not
hi
try a new 10.15w beta for both server and client, and make sure you have ticked to use extra sensor data in the client/server setup for the client version
should work OK
did for me affter I made some changes in the program
I downloaded and installed 10.15w on both machines. I have the use indoor/extra data box ticked on the client. No joy. The extra graph does not display any data.
Brian, I just re-read you message above. I downloaded the 10.15w and not the 10.15w beta. Would that make a difference?
Brian, I have installed and am using 10.15z and the extra sensors are now showing up on the client. The problem now is that the Humdity, on the client, is only recording and displying the first digit. 7% instead of 72% for example.
Also I put one of the sensors in my attic which runs 25 to 30 degrees above the outside temp. I have it graphing on the main graphs. It is set to graph it’s temp vice indoor temp. I can’t get the temp scale to go above 104 without setting it to use the outside scale. Is 104 a default max for inside temp?

I have resisted PayPal for the past several years for various reason, but have just set up an account so I can show you rather than just tell you how much I appreciate the help you have given. I hope others will do the same. I’ve spent more time on hold with some companies than it has taken you to fix a problem and post an update. I’m not saying this to get you to look at the above because I have no doubt you will look into this no matter what I do. Thanks again.
Hi
thanks for the donation!
yes, there is a limit for the indoor…but try the option of ticking set the indoor temperature to the outdoor temperature (not sure if that applies to max indoor temperature scale though…if not, let me know)
client humidity…
i might have to add some debug code…and i will check here with my server and its extra humiditiy sensor////soon (after i catch up on emails/forum postings)
