Everyhour crash and erroneous report

Hi, Brian and Everyone

I am running 10.10v and since some time ago I noticed that, every hour, after uploading to Wunderground, the ftp simply crashes, no file being uploaded to the server.
Also, the hourly report, whenever it rains, says DRY, even reporting the amount of rain and, some time after, STOPPED RAINING. But I saw, one of this days, DRIZZLE…

maybe try sheduling the wunderground upload at a different time to the ftp web page update?

what are you settings for minutes rain to check back, etc, in the summary image and icon setup?

Well, in what concerns schedulling for Wunderground and others, I changed it, lets see what happends.

My “Minutes to check back” settings are:

  • for rain to set icon: 10
  • for recent rain: 5
  • for its stopped raining: 15

Hi again

In addition to my last reply, I can say that even if there’s no upload scheduled to Wunderground, or other, the ftp upload crashes every hour. It begins, but some 2 or 3 seconds after, suddenly crashes.

what do you have set as the overall time out, in the connections setup?
also, what weather station type?

For FTP and Email, time out is at 30 seconds.
My station is a wireless Monitor II.

Lol, over all time out, over all time out… do you mean “Time out in minutes when slow connection”? I can’t find nothing more alike, hehe… if it is that, the answer is 5 minutes.

is 5 minutes long enough?

Yes, it is, I have a good ADSL connection, normally it takes from 30 to 40 seconds to make all the uploads.
