Hello,
Is it possible for the %VPetmonth% to be calculated by the %VPet%, it was about a month ago, and now its is added by the %currentwdet%.
Or have it as an option ?
Cheers

Hello,
Brian was there a change to the calculation of the ET month to date ?
Cheers
Cyclone
Could you please add this option.
Cyclone
alredy been added as an option in the solar setup in a recent version
Ok, thanks, i’ve downloaded and ticked the option, will this also be reflected in the solardetail.gif ?
Thanks again
Cyclone
what that does is use the end of the day VP et to increase the month to date Et value in WD (as the month to date ET value from the VP i could not get to work correct)
It appears not to work last night, including the solardetail.gif, i will see what happens tonight midnight.
Thanks
Cyclone
i see the problem
it would only work if you did not have wd set to plot its own et…
will upload a fix (a fresh 10.20m)
I’ve downloaded the latest WD, and placed a tick in the box, and now its not updating at all ( solardetail.gif & %ETmonthtodate% )
Cheers

Brian, i know is Christmas soon, but i would like this to be fixed up before the new month start, please
Thanks
Cyclone
hey, I think I know what has gone wrong with the WD’s own ET value
it was a change to the variable used to store the solar radiation total for the day…which means its being starting again at zero…hence the line does a zig zag
so changed the variable which has a larger storage number, and that should fix it! (for wd’s own ET)
I will know in a few hours time
(and I have fixed the problem with the ET changing after a program restart)
good news!!!
Its ok now, WD’s calculated ET!!
so now you can switch back to using that, instead of the VP ET (which only updates every hour)
in a new 10.21x, should be ready soon
it was just a variable change I made…I have been wondering why its been broken for a long time now! (it would only get broken for us people in the southern hemisphere with currenlty higher solar readings (I.e the broken bit was the constant see saw effect )
