I have been having some start up error problems with v 10.20. I currently have v Z downloaded but the errors began quite a number of verion updates ago. Here is what I’m getting:
In the left side first window my second sensor for grass minimum temp will not display under wind speed dial.
In the left side first window wind speed starts in LCD mode and I have to manually change it back to non LCD.
Current temperature and barometric pressure offsets don’t work.
In the wind direction graph window no direction shows. Instead it says:
Unable to write to WDISPLAY.INI, also 4294967427 not a valid integer.
In the left side second window under Extreme Conditions At Time, no times off occurrence are displayed.
When I download the version updates I download them directly into the Weader Display 10.20 folder on the C: hard drive.
hi
this is the wrong part of the forum…
but this is the clue:
Unable to write to WDISPLAY.INI, also 4294967427 not a valid integer.
the unable to write to the wdisplay.ini file
check that file (in c:\windows or c:\winnt)
it most likely will be write protected (right mouse click and check its file properties) or corrupted and or check the amount of hard drive space left
try backing up, then delete that file
then restart wd, then reset up the basics needed, as a test
Thanks for the quick response. Sorry for posting my question in the wrong place, it’s confusing to me at times as to where to ask questions.
I had already checked WDISPLAY.INI and is was not corrupted, right protected or out of hard drive space. BUT I did find two .ini files and deleted the one from 9/28/04 from version 10.20 r and now is all okay.
