Error log file precipitation

Hello!

I think that there is bug in log file when registering the precipitation. I have a WS2300 (that counts 4,1 instead of 0,5 mm) and the registries per minute do not register them if they are not 4,1 or 8,2, the daily total registers it well. Very good program WD!

WS2300, WinXP,PIII 512 mb

Hi
if you have a ws2310 station that registers 4.1mm, then that is a hardware fault, and you should be able to get the console replaced from your dealer
as it should measure 0.3mm
hopefully you should be able to get a replacement…others have
let me know what you think

Thanks for the fast answer!
I do not believe that me they change it, is two years old already, before it did not worry to me

What I mean is that the sum of the column of minutes does not agree with the total of the day, When it is greater than 8,2 always appear 0.0

It is not very important, thanks!

hi
ok, just checked the code, and i had put in a data quality check, to not allow greater than 10mm in 1 minute…
so maybe that is why…if your rain gauge is giving 4.1mm per tip, you could end up with more than 10mm in 1 minute…
?

i.e, though, maybe in WD you need to set a rainfall offset…as the station will be adding up the rain amount way too much, because of that hardware fault (it must have been a bad batch of stations?)
?yes no?

Thank you very very very much windy

I will try the rainfall offset

Greetings
