Hi,
I’m new to this software, so please be patient. I cannot get the emails from weather warning or weather report section of WD to work correctly. I can only get WD to send emails to the address in the ‘Your Email Address’ field. Does anybody have any idea what I might be doing wrong?
I’m using version 10.12r of WD.
Thanks,
David.
hi
do you have emial in the email to list added ?
(thats different to the from address)
if so, also check there is not a blank space as the first line…if so, highlight it, then click on delete
alkso make sure the main internet switch is ON
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I have an address added in the ‘email to’ field ([email protected] - my work email).
No, there’s no blank space.
Yes, the Main Internet switch is on.
Below is a copy of the FTPLOGFULL.TXT file generated when I hit the ‘Test’ button. As you can see, it does actually try to address the email to both [email protected] and [email protected], but I only get the one to weather.report. I’ve tried other addresses and I’ve tried reversing these example ones, but nothing seems to work. I’ve also tried setting up a Telnet session to our mail server (Exchange 5.5) and emulating what’s in the FTPLOGFULL.TXT by sending email using SMTP and I get the same result - I only get the email sent to the first recipient. Is there an issue with using Exchange 5.5?

Ok, I think I’ve sussed the problem. Exchange 5.5 seems to think that because both addresses are mine, I only want one report (i’ve never seen it do this before). So, thanks for your help, it all seems to be working now!
