Dissapearing Main screen curretn weather icon

Brian,
For some time now, the current weather icon on the main screen keeps disapearing. Near as I can tell it happens each morning when my wife clicks on it to see the 5 day forecast display. From that time until WD puts up a new icon as a result of changed conditions or nightfall, I have a blank space where the icon belongs. I could live with that, but now if I click on that area while the space is blank, the forecast wont appear. But after dark, clicking on the icon does not cause it to disappear. I dont recall if I ever tried to see the forecast while the ‘raining’ icon was displayed, so it may be related only to the default “normal weather” icon.

Currently I am using 9.94d, but this has been happening for some weeks now, and I am usually no more than 1-3 letter versions behind.

Same thing here Fred… it does it every once in a while and I have no clue why. I don’t worry about it since it doesn’t do it on the web page.
I made a shortcut to the 5dayforecast on my desktop so I can go to it without going through WD.

fred, email me your registry settings…wdisplayftp.ini
(and in a new 9.94e, going to setup, general and misc, export registry, you can do it there (gets saved as wdisplayftp.ini, in the databackup directory…should work, i will test more fully soon

i am not having this problem myself…
but also try vers 9.94e, as i have a feeling it might be fixed
(btu the server is down at the moment)
