displaying old data where is WDL getting it from

This has got me beat run out of ideas
My WD live is displaying old data when I recently patched my pc for XPSP2
I backed up all data and patched the PC on restoring the files; I had an issue getting the Baro going I eventually got there.
But ended up with WD behaving oddly

I have restored all WDL files from original backup.
Deleted Client draw file from the web site, I Had WD switched off briefly while I did this.

I know this won’t help much, but this is why I will not be installing SP2 for a long time yet until I hear what results it has on existing installations.

I do not trust Microshaft. People installing SP1 when it came out had all sorts of nightmares and I cannot see SP2 being any different.

I hope you get WD and WDL running as normal again John. Thanks for letting us know of your problem!

Have a look at the raw clientraw text file - if the data in there is old then make sure the internet settings for WD are still correct.

john, i see that your date is 1 day ahead
reset your computer date :slight_smile:
that might help a bit
wow, you got some strong winds the other day…145kmh!

now, your WDL page is obvioulsy using a stuck data…the clientraw.txt file
check that that file is still being updated/uploaded

your clientraw.txt file is OK there
(execpt for the day being a day ahead (it says the 18th)

edit:
i see now your WDL is OK now

(except for the day being a day ahead (its only the 17th (here in NZ))

I paid the price for trying to be smart.

I did not know how long it would take to upgrade to XP to sp2

I backed up WD data relocated it to my general use computer to keep
Log data updating while I upgraded.

On completion
I relocated WD back to the Dedicated PC

After noticing the issue some time later with WDL I focussed on the weather PC and web site only
Tried every thing I thought.

Silly me this morning I noticed Clientraw was still updating my web site from my general use PC. Hmm two clientraw updating my web site from two different PC

gusts to 45 knots, only 5.5oCm winchill -1.5oC
yuk!
not too much better here though, 8oC, and gusting to 25 knot winds
