My WD main screen comes up quite undersized on my screen (1024x768 resolution).
i am not sure why it does not got to the very large size some people have set for their screen
to reset and start again
go back to use large screen size, and click on NO
then restart wd
then you are back and ground zero (you should be)
i have tried to get so you can resize wd via the bottom right hand corner, but objects on the screen then can quite easily get out of proportion…that is the delima i have
but, i am also intending to make it so you can hide/move, resize different objects on the main screen (i.e customise it (even add other images maybe))
Done those things… still have a sub-miniature display…
wellm there must be a step in there
try:
setting no, under use large screen size
then restart wd
try that
I’ve done that, too… I’m really at a loss… I’ve even tried unticking “use Windows Large Fonts”; no change no matter what I’ve done. This started after I used the “increase screen size” to the point where the display was slightly larger than my physical screen size. I then did the “reset display size” and ever since it has become subminiature. Anything in wdisplay.ini I can manually change to at leat get me back to the default?
others have been where you are now
it is revoverable
in the wdisplay.ini file
['Screen size]
new value width=
new value height=
try setting those to blank
then restart wd
(do this when wd is not running)
(wdisplay.ini from c:\windows or c:\winnt)
also, using the reset screen size, that just make it smaller…(it assumes it was too big)
i guess i need a start over one
Ahhhhhhhh… that did the trick! Thanks, Brian.
