Dew point spike

Everything was working fine until, between about 3 and 5 AM today the dew point on my main graph reads 4890.0. All other traces are normal. Just before and after the spike the reading is 41.2.

This spike does not show in the real time graph.

In the real time graph there are short time span spikes in the temp trace only (usually jumping up to about 93 F) every several hours, but they don’t show in the main graph. Just now there was a spike in the real time graph temp trace to 120F and the dew point trace spiked too.

  1. What’s going on and how do I fix it?
  2. How do I correct the dew point in the main graph; the “Graph Correction Set Up” screen doesn’t have a tick box for dew point?

hi
its a scale issue
to fix, go to setup graph setup
and then use lift/lower temperature line, until it disappears
i.e it happens when you have very low humidity reasons

Thanks, that simple thing worked fine, of course.
Will I need to reset that when the computer is rebooted, or does the new setting stay in memory?

hi
it should stay in memory
wd tries to be smart about the scale needed,…but sometimes human intervention is needed
you can also set the low temperature threshold lower on the real time graph too…see in the setup
