Daylight Saving Time

It that time again. Those who live in an area that practice this barbaric act. Be warned. It’s time

Mark

Yep , I’m one of those living in that area

The “barbaric” act is switching to Standard Time… 8)

Yeah for Daylight Savings Time :D/

Nope, adjusting your watch, clocks, etc… are easy… the watch is the evil twin,Skippy.

My Irox never has any problems ‘falling back’. It’s the ‘springing forward’ that jacks with it to the point I have to manually update it every year.

For the last 32 years I have been setting the clocks before I go to bed. The wife says not this year… not sure why… but … I did sneak the bedroom clock ( gee, we took a whole minute this time?)

Got up this morning and checked the Vue and the clock is correct.

Unfortunately WD is still an hour behind…

it is great to see everything changed over this morning… my watch also changed time . just have the Jeeps to change over … they still have the manual change…

Now if it would only warm up like it is supposed to. sigh :?

Looks like even the Irox/Honeywell switched over automagically last night. That’s good to know.

My atomic watch didn’t receive a good signal last night; so I have to wait for tonight (setting it manually creates more problems). Everything else is set (I have three other atomic clocks in the house, one being the weather station).

Hi All,

Hee, Hee.

Moving to Hawaii or Arizona will solve this DST issue or other places that don’t have this issue.

Another six months to go for another change…

something about trade offs… DST for tsunami… I will take the light. Funny… I get up and get dressed in the dark at 5:30 and for a while I had dawn light, now it is back to dark… and the benefit is that driving home I get the sun in the eyes. ah… DST I love ya. I should clairfy dressing in the dark. The wife doesn’t have to get up a that hour, so rather than turn on the lights, I put my clothing in a certain order the night before so I won’t disturb her.

I put mine in the bathroom.

WD uses the PC’s time
make sure your PC is set to change day light saving auto

Looks like every thing went as planned  Up to, and including, my hour of sleep :frowning:

The Mac clock was correct…and the Vue clock had been changed and was correct…the only thing that didn’t update was WD.

Same as last year. Try a restart.

Yep, no change. I re-started WD and expected to see an hour hole in the graph but that didn’t happen. The only thing I noticed is the graph timeline went 3 hours between hash marks instead of the usual 2.

In MX, everything is slower, my normal time is CST, we are still on the old DST schedule so we don’t “spring ahead” until April, I call my Mother in Colo which is normally an hour behind me - except at this time of year when we’re at the same time. Then there is the TV which comes from the eastern zone so all times are normally listed in EST and I have to remember it’s actually an hour earlier for me - except at this time of year when it’s 2 hours earlier? Then in the Fall when you guys “fall back” - - - oh well, never mind.
