I have had my Davis Vantage vue setup to a computer running windows 10 for a few years and it has been working good. I use an old usb to serial adapter between the davis vantage vue and the computer. I was considering getting a new computer and removed the usb connecton today. After that I was not able to get it to connect again. So i need a little help trouble shooting.
In Weather display i have selected the com port 4 to places, and in device manager i have also selected com 4 and baud rate 19200 , both places. When i hit debug info in weather display it says that it will not connect. I know it stands that the driver is outdated. But it has worked like that a long time. Any advice what to try?
