What is the sequence of capturing data on the OS WMR928 ? I have noticed that some of my wind gust data is not being picked up by WD

wd does not acualy poll the comport…it uses a interupt and so uses the data as it arrvies…
and then I fill an array up, and check that…
maybe that is where the problem is…
the windspeed updates every 10 seconds from the station,…

Just doing some ‘random’ data checking…and cannot back up what I was observing yesterday. Only 1 reading appeared not to be displayed by WD…I have noticed that there is a rounding problem, which I think has been discussed before. Readings of 8.1mph are being displayed as 8.0mph on WD , likewise with 11mph and 12.7…but these minute discrepancies are totally unimportant to me.

yes, rounding ,converting to your chosen units… becuase wd uses knots internaly (which is what most weather stations are actualy reporting too)…
