Data dumping

Hello,

Every so often upon startup, I appear to lose my data. I believe I am using 10.15W(it’s at least ver. T, but as recent as W maybe). But the version is unimportant as it has been occuring for months.

The graphs all return to zero, and nothing before that instant is available to graph.

Any reason? Solution?

Thanks.

Sam

Setup…
Control Panel…
Units/Other Settings…

What hour do you reset your values? “0” hour is midnight.

hi
what weather station type?
when this happens, check under view, program error log for any errors
and try:
action, convert wd logfiles to graphs…(and choose 82004lg.txt for this month) and click on convert
the graphs will then be recreated

THe weather station is a WM968. It’s not a station problem, and it’s not a zero hour problem. I mean, it really, really just flatlines everything before the dump occured.

Next time I will try reduilding the tables, Brian.

Thanks.

Sam

upon startup may be a clue. What exactly is starting up? PC or WD? What has been off? How long was the PC or WD off?

System startup and WD startup. I have WD loading automatically.

Edit: I should say reboot, since my machine is on pretty much 24/7.

Sam

What is your operating system?
Why the reboot? Did the system crash?
How long was the machine off before the reboot?
Looks like WD did not have an opportunity to shut down properly. Therefore some data may have been lost.
